Learning to Identify Sounds in Words

This term I have been learning to:

• identify phonic letters and sounds within words
• identify high frequency sight words 
• use Reading Eggs to help me learn to identify sounds 

I was learning to listen to a word and then work out the word they said.  I could listen to the sounds.  I know the beginning sounds.  Waseema  10.04.17

Learning to Plan my Writing

I am learning to plan my writing.

I will be successful when:

• I plan my ideas before I write
• I use quick pictures and words
• my writing shows ideas and details from my plan

I was thinking of my birthday and I thought of all things I did.  I remembered.

The tricky part was drawing some things like the table.  10.04.17

Well done Waseema, you managed to follow your plan and write most of these ideas. Planning really helps you to make your story longer and more interesting.  Keep trying to just use words not sentences in you plan.  Mrs Templeton  10.04.17
